Altima Dental seeks a Dental Clinic Coordinator/Area Support Manager for our network of Dental Centres in the Montreal, Quebec area.

The Dental Centre Coordinator/Area Support Manager will manage the daily business operations of a dental clinic in Montreal, Quebec, while supporting the Clinic Coordinators for 2-3 other practices within the surrounding area. Travel between clinics and to our Home Office at Yorkdale in Toronto is required. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced dental administrative managers seeking a career path towards a Regional Support Manger role.

You are a highly-motivated individual who combines your experience with planning, organization and implementation skills. You have a Degree in Health or Business Administration and a minimum of 3 years' line management experience in a premiere service industry. Your leadership record will demonstrate your ability to work closely with line managers and to lead high performance teams. For this role, you must have demonstrated the ability to effectively and impact all aspects of operations including business development, finance, human resources and quality management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years proven and progressive line management experience in a healthcare or other premiere service environment.
  • A high degree of professional judgment, analytical ability, and resourcefulness.
  • Experience in directing and developing diverse teams of health care professionals.
  • Economic management experience to effectively forecast, plan and monitor operating and capital costs.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, including project leadership experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills are necessary. Knowledge of health care software systems would be an asset.
